Lauren + Bill

“This husband and wife team made us feel comfortable on our wedding day, and gave just the right amount of direction to keep us from looking lost but never overly posed. . . . We had so much fun on our wedding day, and I think a large contributor of that was knowing we were in good hands with Kristen Nicole: we could focus on enjoying the moment and know that all the laughs, the tears, and the dancing was being captured beautifully to reflect on later.”

Crystal + Tim

“My husband and I could not have asked for a better fit for a photographer! Kristen is very easy going, professional, prompt to respond to emails, and most importantly has an eye for capturing every detail of the day. From the wedding aesthetic to tender moments between newlyweds she captured everything to tell the story of our personalities and our event.  I would highly recommend working with Kristen and look forward to future events.”

“Kristen was a joy to work with. She was very responsive to any questions we had and made us feel very comfortable and at ease during our engagement and wedding pictures. Kristen's style is natural, effortless, and simply stunning. It was everything we wanted for our wedding pictures and more. We feel so fortunate to have had the most special moments of our life captured through Kristen's fun, unique, and beautiful photography.”

 Frequently asked:

+ Will you travel for our wedding?

Yes! We frequently travel to other cities including Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Detroit, and beyond.

+ How long after the wedding will our photos be ready?

Final images are typically delivered within 4-6 weeks after the wedding.

+ What is the required deposit to reserve our date?

A $600 deposit is required along with a signed contract, and the balance is due 30 days before the wedding.

+ Do you take posed family group photos?

Absolutely! Although my style is more photojournalistic and candid in nature, we know how important it is to have those traditional family group photos as part of your story.

+ How long have you been photographing weddings?

We’ve been in the wedding business for 16 years, and in that time have photographed over 350 weddings!

+ Do you carry backup equipment?

Absolutely. Your day is too important for me not to be prepared with extra camera bodies, lighting, etc. We'll bring everything we need to ensure that not a single moment is missed.

+ Will you tell us how to pose if we feel awkward during our portraits?

Of course, that is why you hired us! It's not your job to figure out how to stand or what to do with your hands, so rest assured we will help guide you throughout the day when it comes to posing so that you feel at ease and confident.

+ What if something happens to you and you can't show up at our wedding?

This is addressed in the contract! If anything were to happen to me, I have systems in place so that you would be covered with an equally qualified photographer!

+ Do you work with an assistant?

Whether or not you choose to have a 2nd photographer taking photos, an assistant will always be present to carry gear, setup lighting, help arrange family formals and just be an extra set of eyes to make sure things are in order.

+ What are the benefits of having a 2nd photographer at our wedding?

Having 2 photographers isn’t absolutely necessary in every case, but it can be helpful during some phases of the day - during the getting ready phase, it would prevent me from having to divide my time between the guys and girls. Also, it would allow us to capture more candids of friends and family, and different vantage points during the main events of the day, such as the ceremony or formal dances.
