You will work more closely with your photographer than any of your wedding vendors on the day of the wedding, so it's important that you are comfortable and confident in your choice.

Over the years we’ve fine-tuned every aspect of our business, not just in our technical and artistic skills, but in the experience we create for our couples. There are so many moving parts on a wedding day, not to mention the preparation and planning leading up to your big day. Below you’ll learn more about what to expect when working with us, and what sets us apart from other Toledo wedding photographers. What to expect

We promise you: Peace of Mind

After 12 years photographing over 400 weddings, we know the ins and out of weddings. We know how to handle those situations that someone with less experience may not know how handle - dark churches and reception rooms, finding the creative potential in new or less than ideal locations, or working well with other wedding vendors. And in case of the very rare, but real possibility of an equipment failure, we carry backup cameras and lenses, memory cards, and lighting so that you won’t have to worry about any of your precious memories being missed!

We promise you: Timeliness

Whether it’s responding to your questions, delivering your images, or creating your album design, we’ll be sure everything is done as quickly and efficiently as possible. We usually are able to return calls or emails within 24 hours. After the wedding we know you’ll be dying to see your photos, so we won’t keep you waiting months. You can count on seeing your photos within 6 weeks of the wedding (usually sooner than that!).

We promise you: Attention to Detail

We LOVE wedding day details! Capturing the details is an important part of your story, and we love to start off the day by photographing your dress, shoes, jewelry, something borrowed, or something blue. This helps set the stage for the story of your wedding day, and helps everyone get warmed up to the camera. We know you’ve also put lots of thought and effort into all of your reception decor, we are absolutely amazed by our brides’ talent and creativity! So everything from your centerpieces to your dessert table, to your guest favors will be documented for you to remember.

We promise you: Collaboration

We want to hear your ideas and vision for your wedding. You’ve spent weeks, if not months, planning and perfecting every detail of your day. We want to know what elements are unique to your wedding, the people that are the most important to you, and anything else that you have your heart set on having us capture. Using our creative and artistic eye, we'll help execute your vision. From the little details to the big moments, to the otherwise forgotten memories - nothing will be missed.

We promise you: Unobtrusiveness

Although the photos are important, what’s more important is celebrating your commitment to each other with those you love most. Our couples often express how much we appreciated that we captured every detail, yet they hardly remember seeing us throughout the day. We’ll document the day as unobtrusively as possible so as not to be disruptive. In the end, it’s your day. I have no agenda other than ensuring your photo experience is one part of a perfect day. I’ll take my cues from you and make sure you have the time and space to enjoy your own wedding.

We promise you: Authentic Photos

Having relaxed and authentic photos is the number one reason couples are drawn to us. SO many of our clients, even those that tell us how awkward they feel in front of the camera, comment that we make having their photo taken feel very natural. So they look natural, too. There will be no stiff, awkward posing; just real, genuine interaction and connection between the two of you. We want your photos to reflect your unique personalities. So whether we’re shooting spontaneous, candid images or more thoughtful portraiture, the real you is going to shine through.

Frequently asked:

+ Will you travel for our wedding?

Yes! We frequently travel to other cities including Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Detroit, and beyond.

+ How long after the wedding will our photos be ready?

Final images are typically delivered within 4-6 weeks after the wedding.

+ What is the required deposit to reserve our date?

A $600 deposit is required along with a signed contract, and the balance is due 30 days before the wedding.

+ Do you take posed family group photos?

Absolutely! Although my style is more photojournalistic and candid in nature, we know how important it is to have those traditional family group photos as part of your story.

+ How long have you been photographing weddings?

We’ve been in the wedding business for 16 years, and in that time have photographed over 350 weddings!

+ Do you carry backup equipment?

Absolutely. Your day is too important for me not to be prepared with extra camera bodies, lighting, etc. We'll bring everything we need to ensure that not a single moment is missed.

+ Will you tell us how to pose if we feel awkward during our portraits?

Of course, that is why you hired us! It's not your job to figure out how to stand or what to do with your hands, so rest assured we will help guide you throughout the day when it comes to posing so that you feel at ease and confident.

+ What if something happens to you and you can't show up at our wedding?

This is addressed in the contract! If anything were to happen to me, I have systems in place so that you would be covered with an equally qualified photographer!

+ Do you work with an assistant?

Whether or not you choose to have a 2nd photographer taking photos, an assistant will always be present to carry gear, setup lighting, help arrange family formals and just be an extra set of eyes to make sure things are in order.

+ What are the benefits of having a 2nd photographer at our wedding?

Having 2 photographers isn’t absolutely necessary in every case, but it can be helpful during some phases of the day - during the getting ready phase, it would prevent me from having to divide my time between the guys and girls. Also, it would allow us to capture more candids of friends and family, and different vantage points during the main events of the day, such as the ceremony or formal dances.
