We were so excited to photograph Rae and Dave’s wedding, for many reasons. We had first met the couple at a another wedding the previous year; Rae had been a bridesmaid. The two were dating at the time, and although I didn’t have an opportunity to chat with them much that day, I could tell they were the sort of easy-going people that I’d have an easy connection with. They reached out in January to inquire about having us photograph their engagement and wedding photos, I couldn’t wait to get to know these two better! We drove down to Bowling Green for their engagement session, where the pair met, and walked around the quaint downtown, grabbed a coffee at Grounds for Thought, and ended at the BG campus. I think we spent more time chatting than actually taking photos!

The wedding took place at a venue that I had been dying to photograph, Zingerman’s Cornman Farms up in Dexter Michigan. It did not disappoint!! Cornman Farms is an absolutely amazing setting, with it’s gorgeous historical farmhouse, Red Barn, tent pavilion, gardens, and even baby goats! Dressed up with Rae and Dave’s personal decorative touches, along with Erin Braun design’s whimsical florals, the day was an absolute dream! Not only was this one of the most unique and beautiful wedding days, it was also one of the most welcoming group of people we’ve worked with. We felt like party of the family!
